RICE COMMITTEE VISITS RICE STORAGE FACILITIES

The Rice Committee, particularly members of the Sub-Committee on Logistics, Storage Facilities & Local Transportation visited all storage facilities of the six main importers of rice in and near the Free Port of Monrovia on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. All member of the full Committee were welcome and the event was well attended. Starting at the Head Office of the National Port Authority in the Freeport, the Committee members, including Chairman Charles Minor, the Deputy Minister for Commerce and Trade of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Minister Wilmot A. Reeves and Fouta Corporation's Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director Alhaji Hamidou Gnan, walked and bused their way from warehouse to warehouse until they had visited all the warehouses with rice.
